Hello, students of the seniors' class!
This week we learned about iPads. We learned the parts of the iPad (e.g., home button, icons, headphone jack) and a few useful verbs, such as tap, swipe, pinch and zoom. Thursday, each team of two gave a short presentation on how to use one particular app. They were informative; thank you!
Today we watched this short video and read the story about Kenneth Shinozuka, the fifteen-year-old boy who invented a smartphone app and device to keep his grandfather safe. This invention has begun helping patients with Alzheimer's all over the world. If you want to, you can paste the text into your favourite online translator.
